Panama City Beach 08

Well, we did it! We took our first trip with both boys! In the beginning we said we were just going to forgo a beach trip this year due to Logan's arrival. But as the summer began to end we decided that Logan was getting older and easier and that we needed to give it a shot! We left on a Saturday afternoon and drove to KaKa and Pops' house and then went the rest of the way on Sunday, making it an 8 day trip! And while it was not a relaxing vacation, we had a lot of fun and are so glad we did it! Landon ended up getting an ear infection on our first day there, Logan did NOT sleep at night, and Michael and I were both exhausted beyond belief! We did manage to make it out to the beach everyday and the boys had a good time. Landon was not a fan of the ocean this year, but Logan LOVED it! We took Landon on a Pirate Cruise that I highly recommend to anyone traveling to PC with kids. And Michael and I enjoyed some evenings out with just the two of us thanks to my parent's who were gracious enough to spend their evenings sitting in our condo and putting the boys to bed. We also celebrated Michael's 29th birthday while we were down there, he got a Wii and we all enjoyed playing that for the week! Now it's time to get some rest and return back to normal life!

Waking up

A mom of two must find a way to have a little time to herself and the only way to do that is to make sure that both kids take at least one nap at the same time! I have luckily achieved this and Landon and Logan take their afternoon naps at the same time! Who wakes up first is different everyday though. Today, it was Landon who woke up first. After rocking in the chair for a few minutes downstairs, we heard Logan waking up. I let Landon go upstairs and be the first to go in for Logan. I watched on the video monitor as Landon crawled into Logan's crib and snuggled up to him. How sweet!!! Afterwards we came downstairs and played, and as you can see Logan is definitely on the move!

Concert in the Park

Every Thursday at 12pm in September there is a Brown Bag Concert in the Woodstock City Park. Two of my neighbors and I decided to take the kids and have a picnic in the park and listen to the music. We had a lot of fun! The music was good, the weather was nice, and the boys and I really enjoyed the company! I wish I would have gotten more pictures, but Logan was quite the wiggle worm!

Playtime

Logan has now discovered Landon's toys! It's nice for me now because he can sit up and play or army crawl around the room and get to toys he wants. Landon is having a little bit of a problem now that little brother is playing with his toys and likes to make trades with Logan if he is playing with something he would rather have. It's a lot of fun seeing them play together :)

Landon's First Day of School

Landon started the 2 year old program at the same school he did Mom's Morning Out at. He is going 3 days a week, from 9-12, with the option of staying and eating lunch until 1pm!!! Landon loves his teachers, Ms. Beth and Ms. Carolina, and is very excited about being back in school! He is ready every morning saying he wants his "pack pack" with his name on it. I would like to say that I enjoy this time with only one baby to take care of, but Landon is like my babysitter for Logan! I think Logan is a little lonely without big brother!!!
