Mellow Mushroom

Since we had been out all day today, we decided to forgo cooking and grab a pizza at Mellow Mushroom. We sat outside since it was shaded and Landon played with his cars while Logan watched. Once the food came, their behavior quickly went downhill ofcourse! Landon was not happy about getting his picture taken either! I guess he had had enough from this morning!

Lik-A-Stik

Today we headed over to the East Cobb Avenue to CLIX portrait studios to have Logan's 3mos pics, Landon's 2years, and a couple of them together done. The boys did SOOO good! Michael and I were afraid to talk about the success of the trip until we had made it home! For doing such a good job I picked up some Fun Dip, or what I grew up calling it "Lik-A-Stik", for Landon. We explained to him that he couldn't just eat the stick right away, but he was too tempted and the stick was quickly devoured. Here are some pictures of Landon after discovering his hands made much better tools! And Logan playing in the ExerSaucer watching. (The pics are from my phone, so they are a little fuzzy).

Swinging

We put Logan in the baby swing that we bought for Landon when he was the same age tonight! We have an extra swing and the awesome swing set from our neighbors who were so sweet to pass it down to us. It was really fun to have both my boys swinging side by side tonight, Landon really enjoyed having his brother swing beside him too:)

Visiting our Cousins!

Today we made the ride over to Carroll County and visited with Michael's older brothers and their families, and especially to see the new addition, Brady Andrew, who was just born on June 13! We don't get to see everyone a lot now that we have moved off, but Landon always has fun playing with his cousins! Landon even got to ride on a tractor that Uncle Andy and Uncle Darrell had at Andy's house! He was in absolute awe and didn't want to stop! We had a really fun day visiting with everyone and seeing Brady. I realized today that we now have six kids to six adults on that side of the family! Needless to say, family gatherings will always be a lot of fun and really crazy from here on out!!! And I'm so glad that Landon and Logan will have cousins, because I didn't! We always say when we part that we need to get together more often...hopefully we can make that a reality!!!

Trip to LaGrange

Last week I made my first trip with both the boys to my parent's house in LaGrange. I have been itching to make the trip down because I've been feeling a little cooped up and sometimes lonely here all week and was ready for some company! We were also going to see my best friend since childhood, Stephanie, and her new baby, Jake, who is just a month younger than Logan! We had a really good visit and the boys did great! One day Mom and I decided to take Landon and Logan to Callaway Gardens and Stephanie and Jake joined us as well. We had a fun day of playing on the beach and feeding the ducks! Logan and Jake cooperated as well as two babies could be expected! We had a great trip and I enjoyed being with my parents for a few days and seeing new arrivals! Landon enjoyed being at Ka-Ka's house and wouldn't leave her side! Landon was not ready to leave, and said on the whole trip home "go to Ka-Ka's house"...we'll be going back soon:)
