Monkey Joe's at Home!

Last Saturday we were cleaning out the garage and got out the inflatable pool that we had for the summer. It was still blown up, but being November we were not going to fill it up with water. So, we decided to fill it up with plastic balls! It was a real hit and attracted most of the kids on our street! Logan got in on the action as well, the big kids love to play with him.

Happy Halloween!

We celebrated Halloween this evening! Michael came home early from work and we finally got our pumpkin carved. Usually we do this at least the weekend before, but we've all been sick so we haven't gotten around to it. After carving our pumpkin, we joined our neighbors in the culdesac for a pizza party and then hit the streets for trick-or-treating! Landon was supposed to be a pirate and went to school as a pirate this morning, but when he saw his Nemo costume from last year he had to be Nemo again! Logan was a frog, which was Landon's costume from his first Halloween. We have a HUGE neighborhood and didn't come close to even making a dent in it, but Landon got a lot of candy and became a really good "trick-or-treater" saying "trick or treat" and then "thank you". Now for Mommy to go pick out the good candy and put the kids to bed!!

Farm Festival

Landon's school had a farm festival last Friday. They had different games set up and after each one you played you got to a pick a prize. I think it was supposed to be held outside, but that was one of the Friday's that was a complete washout, so it was held inside. I think it would have been more enjoyable outside for the kids, it was very loud and crowded and I think Landon got overwhelmed. I didn't get many pictures, and the ones I got didn't turn out very good, but I did get one of the two both looking at me half way smiling!

A trip to the playground!

Rock Climbing

Thank goodness we live in Georgia, where the weather is still warm in October! Going to the playground is always a good thing to do when you want to keep both kids busy and wear them out at the same time. Logan really enjoyed crawling around and trying to put bark in his mouth and Landon enjoyed the freedom of being able to run up and down stairs and slide down the slide many times!

Berry Patch Farms

It looks like this lady is choking my child! He didn't move a muscle, I think he was scared of her!

Our little "pumpkin"

A couple of weeks ago, we decided to get out and go pick a pumpkin at one of the pumpkin patches near our house. Everyone was finally healthy again and we were tired of being stuck at home. Berry Patch Farms is great! There are some small farm animals to pet, face painting, hay rides, lots of pumpkins, and my favorite the fried apple pies! Landon really enjoyed it this year! I think Logan liked climbing all over the pumpkins!

Did I ever mention I hate lizards?

Well, Landon has developed a liking to the creature now! We have quite a few lizards that enjoy our back patio and one day Daddy caught one and gave it to Landon to show me!

This is what I see every morning now!

Logan at 8 months old

Logan has been standing up for quite a while now, but I always love walking in his room after he has woken up and seeing him standing there, bouncing up and down, and calling out in his crib! We got a similar picture of Landon when he was around the same age!
